Conducted research in hydrology and hydrogeology, geochemistry, environmental issues, and the bedrock geology of New Hampshire; supervised student Independent Study projects.

Co-director of the Center for Environmental BioGeoChemistry, Keene State College, Keene, NH (2000-2021)
Oversight of environmental sample preparation laboratory, and operation and maintenance of a wavelength dispersive x-ray fluorescence spectrometer and a stable isotope ratio mass spectrometer with both dual bellows and continuous flow inlet systems; projects included analysis of heavy metals in river sediment and soils.
